Pouring a Parking Lot in Phases
Site assessment and grading plan
We walk the lot, measure slopes and drainage patterns, and design the grade so water sheds off the site. We also plan which sections pour first and which stay open for your traffic.
Base prep and forming
The sub-base is excavated, compacted to spec, and checked for density. Forms and reinforcement are set to the slab thickness and control joint layout.
Concrete placement and finishing
We pour in phases, finishing each section to a broom or smooth texture. Control joints are saw-cut on layout so any cracking happens in the joint, not across the slab.
Cure and phased reopening
Each phase cures for the required time, then we mark the date it can carry traffic. Sections reopen while the next phase is being poured, keeping your lot operational.

Not every lot is single-level. When you need a parking structure, the ramps, decks and load ratings all have to work together. We pour to the structural engineer's drawings and coordinate with the other trades so the work stays on schedule.
